Humans

Humans are one of the playable races of the game. Humanity's encounter with The Traveler heralded its greatest leap in the field of technological and medical advancement. This allowed them to expand their settlements from their native planet, Earth and colonize much of the solar system. Dubbed as the Golden Age, humanity was also able to extend their lifespan, even create a race of sentient machines called the Exo.

When the Traveler's ancient enemy called The Darkness attacked, humanity was almost wiped out and their former glory shrouded by the Darkness. The only surviving human settlement is called The City, where the Traveler lies dormant, sleeping, after it sacrificed itself in the last battle against the Darkness.
